Columbus, OH - On Saturday October 1, 2016, St. Stefan of Decani Serbian Orthodox Church in Columbus Ohio,  organized their Youth Day. It is a special day dedicated to all the youth in our parish. The “Youth Day” started back in 2013 and it has been getting better and bigger with every passing year. The Youth Day activities are very similar to activities that children have in the Church summer camps. Basically our goal is to incorporate fun activities into learning. This year activities included: bonfire and roasting marshmallows, hayrides, youth group meeting, arts and crafts, folklore dance lessons, tree planting and a basketball clinic by our great athletes and great man - professional basketball players Velimir Radinovic and Nikola Jestratijevic. It was truly a blessed day; full of joy, happiness and laughter.  We are grateful to everyone that participated and helped with children activities: basketball clinic, folklore dancing lessons, hay rides, tree planting and everyone that participated and helped preparing all the food: roasting lambs, preparing sac/peka, baking pizza; preparing delicious stews, cakes and all the other food. A very special THANK YOU to our great athletes and great man - basketball players Velimir Radinovic and Nikola Jestratijevic for running the youth basketball clinic. Thank You and God bless You all!
