Dear Church-school Teachers,
You are invited to attend an upcoming webinar, Rooted in the Word: Growing Through Scripture, hosted by the Diocesan Education Commission of the Eastern American Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
This one-hour session will be led by Mr. David Lucs, Founder and CEO of Orthodox Journeys. We will review the newly launched Growing Through Scripture curriculum, reflect on the initial weeks of implementation, and discuss strategies for effective use throughout the academic year. The session will also include time for questions and open discussion.
Growing Through Scripture is a 44-week program that follows the rhythm of the Church year through the Sunday epistle and gospel readings. Now in use across our Diocese, it is designed for students in grades K–12 and aims to help them engage with Scripture, apply it to their lives, and grow in the Orthodox Faith.
