On Sunday, October 18, 2025, following the Divine Liturgy, our Sunday School organized a joyful and memorable trip to Janoski Farm. The day was filled with laughter, sunshine, and the spirit of Christian fellowship that unites our parish family.
Yet this outing was more than just a pleasant day outdoors - it was a living lesson in the values that the Church seeks to cultivate in our children: unity, fellowship, and love. As they explored the pumpkin patch, jumped in the bouncy houses, and played in the corn pool, they also learned, in the most natural way, what it means to live together in peace and joy.
The Psalmist reminds us: “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity” (Psalm 133:1). The Church is not only a place where we worship, but where we learn to love one another as members of one Body in Christ. Our Sunday School aims to form young hearts and minds in this spirit - to teach them that every act of kindness, every shared laugh, and every moment of togetherness is a reflection of God’s love.
While the children played, the adults shared in fellowship, renewing their own sense of community and gratitude. Surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation and the warmth of the October sun, everyone was reminded that faith is lived both in prayer and in joyful communion with one another.
May the seeds of love and unity planted in the hearts of our children continue to grow and bear fruit in Christ, for the life of the Church and the joy of all.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:14)
In Christ,
