У парохији Светог Саве у Норт Порту у недељу прву по Духовима, Свету Литургију је служио презвитер Саша Ђ. Хор и верни народ у певању литургијских химни су предводили Мирко Рокнић, Љубиша Драгин и Милорад Дошен. Апостол су читали (на српском и енглеском) Милорад Дошен и Невенка Рокнић. У олтару су помагали и носили литије Мирослав и Јован, Ђурић, Крстан  и Гаврило Поповић, а литије су носиле и Мила и Марија Ђурић. 

У литургијској проповеди отац Саша је указао да је наша Света Црква, прву недељу по Духовима посветила Свим Светима и да ако се одрекнемо овоземаљског света, а мислима и молитвено будемо уздиигнути, у једној вертикали ка Богу  а љубављу и саосећајношћу ка ближњем, онда таквим крстоликим животом лакше ћемо подносити бреме живота и носити крст свој. 

Тога ради, прва недеља по Духовима, Недеља Свих Светих, јесте подсећање да смо сви позвани на светост. Непрестани литургијски позив ''Светиње Светима'', јесте позив да се освећујемо Телом и Крвљу Годподњом, сјединимо са Господом Исусом Христом, и да у Духу Светом будемо принесени Богу Оцу у Вечну заједницу Оца и Сина и Духа Светога. Света Литургија јесте, овде и сада, место сусрета са Богом и предокус и праобразац Царства Небеског и Живота Вечног овде и сада на земљи.

Ради тога је наша Света Црква по недељи Свих Светих установила пост, не као циљ, већ као средство за постизање циља а то је заједница са Богом у Светој Евхаристији.

Након свете Литургије, вредне сестре припремиле су трпезу љубави.

At St. Sava Church in North Port on the First Sunday after Pentecost, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Father Sasa Djurdjevic. The choir and the faithful were led in the singing of the liturgical hymns by Mirko Roknic, Ljubisa Dragin and Milorad Dosen. The Epistle was read (in Serbian and English) by Milorad Dosen and Nevenka Roknic. In the Altar servers, were Miroslav and Jovan Djuric, Krstan and Gavrilo Popovic, assisted by Radmila and Marija Djuric.

In the preaching, Father Sasa pointed out that our Holy Church dedicated the First Sunday after Pentecost to All Saints. If we give up our secular way of life and with our thoughts and we rise up in prayer vertically towards the Lord and with love and compassion toward our neighbor horizontally, then with that cruciform life we will more easily handle the weight on our shoulders and the weight of the Cross we bear.

Because of that, the First Sunday after Pentecost, Sunday of All Saints, is the reminder to all of us that we are invited to Holiness. The never-ending liturgical invitation “Holy Gifts for the Holy people” is the invitation to communion where with the Body and the Blood of our Lord we are united with Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit we are brought in the Lord’s Kingdom into the everlasting union of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Liturgy is, here and now, the place where God is met and replicates the Heavens and Eternal life here and now on the Earth.

That is why our Holy Church, after the Sunday of All Saints, appointed Fasting, not as a goal but as a tool (resource) toward fulfilling the goal which is unity with God in God’s Kingdom.

After the Liturgy our diligent sisters prepared an Agape meal.
