Од 19. до 21. јула 2019. године у Академији Бискупије Ротенбурга (Akademie der Diözese Rottenburg Stuttgart) у Штутгарту одржана је конференција на тему Присвојене Цркве или мостови ка Православљу? (Stolen Churches or Bridges to Orthodoxy?) у организацији поменуте Академије и Еклезиолошке истраживачке групе (Ecclesiological investigations international research group).

Финансијску подршку пружила је и организација Renovabis, која је омогућила студентима теологије из централне и источне Европе да присуствују том догађају и узму активно учешће у дискусијама. Међу стипендираним студентима нашли су се и представници Православног богословског факултета Универзитета у Београду: Јовица Вукасовић са докторских студија и Николај Сапсај са мастер студија.

У раду конференције учествовали су и ђакон др Јован Аничић (Serbian Eastern American Diocese, The Department of Christian Education), Тијана Петковић (Tübingen University - Theologicum) и Бранко Малешевић (Sorbonne University). Остали учесници и представници стигли су из 19 држава: Немачке, Америке, Швајцарске, Француске, Грчке, Канаде, Италије, Русије, Украјине, Велике Британије, Румуније, Аустралије, Бугарске, Шведске, Аустрије, Белгије, Белорусије, Индије и Грузије.

Конференција је имала за циљ да први пут у историји међухришћанских односа да подстицај ка дијалогу између Православне и Источно-католичке Цркве, стога можемо да очекујемо још оваквих конференција. Током три дана интензивних излагања и дискусија било је много тема које су се тицале статуса унијата и односа према њима од стране католика и православаца.

Треба истаћи допринос др Владимира Латиновића, професора на Тубингенском Универзитету, да конференција протекне на најбољи могући начин. За сваку похвалу је и чињеница да иако је организација Renovabis нудила 10 стипендија за студенте, залагањем др Латиновића поменута организација је издвојила чак 35 стипендија. Стога су студенти са мастер и докторских студија из централне и источне Европе могли да присуствују јединственом догађају и размене искуства и сазнају нешто ново о међухришћанским односима.

Conference in Stutgart, Germany: Stolen Churches or Bridges to Orthodoxy

At the Academy of the Diocese of Rotenburg in Stuttgart (Akademie der Diözese Rottenburg Stuttgart), from 19. to 21. July 2019., was held a conference titled Stolen Churches or Bridges to Orthodoxy, organized by the formentioned Academy and the Ecclesiological Investigations International Research Group.

Financial support was also provided by the Renovabis organization, which enabled the theology students from Central and Eastern Europe to attend this event and take an active part in the discussions. Among the students who had scholarships were also representatives of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of University of Belgrade: Mr. Jovica Vukasović from Doctoral Studies program and Mr. Nikolai Sapsaj from the Master Studies program.

At the conference also took part Deacon Dr. Jovan Aničić (the Serbian Eastern American Diocese, the Department of Christian Education, New York), Ms. Tijana Petković (Tübingen University - Theologicum), a cleric of the Eastern American Diocese SOC, and Mr. Branko Malešević (Sorbonne University, Paris). Dn. Jovan Anicic lecture was titled “East and West in Dialogue: Theologoumena of St. Cyril of Alexandria and their Perspectives”.
Other participants and representatives came from 19 countries: Germany, USA, Switzerland, France, Greece, Canada, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Great Britain, Romania, Australia, Bulgaria, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, India and Georgia

The conference aimed to encourage the dialogue between the Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Church for the first time in the history of inter-Christian dialogue, and we may expect more similar conferences. During the three days of intense presentations and discussions, there were many topics related to the status of uniates and the relation of Roman Catholics and Orthodox Christians towards them.

It should be noted that Dr Vladimir Latinović, a professor at the University of Tubingen, in the best possible way contributed to the conference. For every comendation is the fact, that although the Renovabis foundation offered 10 scholarships for students, thanks to dedication of Dr. Latinovic, the fore-mentioned organization has allocated even 35 scholarships. Therefore, students from Central and Eastern Europe, who are doing their master and doctoral studies, could attend a unique event and experience exchange and learn something new about inter-Christian relations.
