On Thursday, May 12, 2022, the feast day of St Basil of Ostrog the Wonderworker, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije celebrated the Patriarchal Divine Liturgy in the Upper Ostrog Monastery, as part of the celebration of the great jubilee of our Church - 350 years since the repose of St. Basil of Ostrog.

His Holiness was joined in concelebration by His Eminence Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxoi and Diapontian Islands Nektarios, His Eminence Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral, Bishops: Bishops: Justin of Zhicha, Atanasije of Mileshevo, Irinej of Eastern America, David of Krushevac, Hilarion of Timok, Kirilo of Buenos Aires and South-Central America, Dimitrije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina, Dimitrije of Valjevo, Dimitrije of Valjevo and Metodije of Budimlja and Nikshich together with numerous priests from several diocese, with the prayerful participation of thousands of faithful.

That evening, the procession of St Basil of Ostrog began in front of the Cathedral of St Basil of Ostrog. The procession, which moved through the city streets of Nikschich, was led by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije together with His Grace Metodije of Budimlja and Nikshic and joined by His Eminence Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxoi and Diapontian Islands Nektarios, His Eminence Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral together with other hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
