On Friday, March 24, 2023, the Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts was celebrated, together with Clergy Confessions for the Cleveland Deanery of the Diocese of Eastern America, at the Monastery of St. Mark in Sheffield, Ohio. The Abbot of the holy monastery, Archimandrite Leontije (Alavanja) was the Father Confessor. Responses were sung by the clergy and chanters from the Njegosh Choir of the St. Sava Cathedral in Cleveland. A Lenten Agape meal followed the divine services.

Truly, in the words of Fr Alexander Schmemann, the Lenten sense of joyful sorrow in preparation for Pascha was truly felt by all who were present.
