BISHOP IRINEJ VISITS CAMP SHADELAND

The children, counselors, clergy, and volunteers of St. Sava Camp at Shadeland were blessed to welcome His Grace Bishop Irinej of the Eastern American Diocese during the 1st week of camp at Shadeland, Pennsylvania. 

His Grace spent time with the campers, offering words of encouragement and fatherly guidance, and reminding all that camp is much more than summer activities—it’s a place to deepen relationships with Christ, grow in friendship, and live the faith. 

The Bishop joined the campers in prayer, visited with staff and volunteers, and expressed his gratitude to everyone who works tirelessly to make camp a place where faith is lived. 

The campers were especially blessed by the opportunity to spend time with their bishop, ask questions and received his archpastoral blessing. 

His presence served as a reminder that every member of the church, especially its youngest, is a vital part of the body of Christ. 

We extend our heartfelt thanks to His Grace for taking the time to visit the camp and for his continued love, guidance, and prayers for the youth of our diocese. 

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of His enthronement we expressed best wishes to His Grace and joyfully exclaimed - Many Years!
